I graduated with a Master’s of Arts in Counseling from Lakeland University (Fox Cities Campus) in August of 2023. As of September 2025, I am a fully licensed LPC practicing in the state of Wisconsin.

While this profession has always been my ultimate goal, I have previously worked in education and nursing. I was an instructional aide for a local school district for the past 8.5 years, working primarily with teenagers with intellectual disabilities, as well as those with emotional and behavioral disturbances and learning differences.

Prior to that, I worked at a retirement home as a nursing assistant and was a hospice volunteer for over a decade.

As a counselor, my ultimate goal is to help other people see their inherent dignity and merit, as well as to help them identify their strengths and reach their goals. It is my hope to provide a safe space within which others can feel seen, heard, and encouraged. I enjoy working with all age groups across the board. I have completed training to utilize EMDR and am passionate about trauma work.

Also, in my work with my clients, I came to the epiphany that I am neuro-divergent. This realization has nudged me in the direction of working with clients who present as such; helping them unmask and reclaim aspects of themselves that they may have inadvertently hidden for the sake of blending in.

I have a quote in my office that says, “find out who you are and do it on purpose” (attributed to Dolly Parton); let’s find out who you are, lean into that, and become the best version of yourself that you can possibly be: vulnerability and strength intact, as the two are inextricably interwoven.

I am married with three wonderful children. In my spare time, I enjoy anything that has to do with creativity: I love photography, drawing, painting, and writing poetry. I also enjoy riding my road bicycle and going on hikes in nature, preferably alone and with my camera in tow (but I’ve been known to bring my children along, too).
